But rather than play a single track all the way through to show off their musical chops, the band instead performs a bit of each in their surreal music video. But as with all dreams, not everything in these fanciful visions is as it seems.

Amazon merging Kindle documents and Cloud Drive, 10GB combined free storage

Good news this morning for Kindle owners; it seems you're likely to be waking up to some changes in the way your cloud documents storage works that results in a combined 10GB of free Amazon Cloud Drive. We've received a tip that this is pushing out, and that the merger of 5GB of Kindle documents and 5GB of Amazon Cloud Drive is now amounting to a combined 10GB account that covers everything. Pretty neat.

We've also confirmed that this is only applying to Kindle customers. Indeed, those of us without a Kindle are still languishing back on the 5GB free tier. The new combined account means that your previously Kindle exclusive 5GB can be used for other files such as images and videos – not forgetting Amazon has an iOS app for it's Cloud Drive photos! And that's just great.

Customers are being notified by email it seems, but if you've not seen one yet fire up your Cloud Drive and take a look!

Avalanche smashes a skier in scary helmet cam video

Luckily for Eric Hjorleifson, the avalanche that he started by going down a big mountain pillow line doesn't fully consume him, leaving him relatively unscathed—he just "twisted his knee a bit." You can hear the fear in his heavy breathing after the incident, though. I don't blame him. It's quite scary.

Let's just imagine we could transport an Internet-connected laptop back to the 1790s, when the United States was in its infancy. The technology would no doubt knock the founders out of their buckle-top boots, but once the original patriots got over the initial shock and novelty (and clearing up Wikipedia controversies, hosting an AMA and boggling over Dogecoin), the sense of marvel would give way to alarm as they realized how electronic communications could be exploited by a tyrant, such as the one from which they just freed themselves.

iPhone 5c 8GB goes on sale in more countries across Europe

It looks like Apple's latest model in the iPhone 5c line, the 8GB version, is beginning to go on sale in some additional countries today. We've received a tip that it has just this morning gone on sale in the Czech Republic for the first time, while the folks at 9to5Mac have confirmed it has also gone on sale in The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Belgium and Poland.

The initial launch of the iPhone 5c 8GB was limited to a very select number of locations, and as yet hasn't been seen in the U.S. Pricing varies from country to country, but the 8GB 5c offers a modest saving of around €50 on the 16GB version.
